Word for today, “CONCEIVE”

Word for today, “CONCEIVE”:

Dictionary: of..form a mental image of something that is not present or that is not the case; “Can you conceive of him as …

It is God who impregnates us with images, ideas, and thoughts. It is up to us to take what he shows us and birth them. How do we do this? I believe you must take the following steps.

  1. Ask God to confirm.
  2. Have faith.
  3. Trust God.
  4. Surround yourself only with people of character, integrity, and honor. People that will speak truth not what you want to hear.
  5. Timing is everything, don’t give up.

What has God conceived in your mind and heart? You must put the five above list into practice to bring about the promises of God. I see way too many people abort what God conceived in their mind and heart. Over and over I see people listening to the wrong voices. Listen, when God gives a word (conception moment is what I call it) you accept it. God confirms (for me through scripture) this only way I believe. I must then have faith in God to bring it about, his way not mine. I must trust the complete sovereignty of who he is. I must keep things and ponder them in my own heart like Mary did. Then, I surround myself with people who know God better than I do. Not every person is a true follower. There are plenty of enthusiastic people out there, but very few who are grounded on the word of God, and people who know, know God.

The people who know God are the no-nonsense kind of people. They are people devoted to prayer not prayer that lasts only one hour at a weekly prayer meeting. That is well and good, but I’m not talking about that kind of prayer. I’m talking about the kind of people you find yourself intimidated by because you know they got something you don’t have- a direct connection to God. That is the kind of person I’m referring to. Please understand we can’t help ourselves. God just reveals things to us because of where we stand with him. So many times, I find myself telling God, “Please, God, this is really too much for me to handle.” Then I’m reminded God called Abraham His friend, “Is there anything I should hide from My friend Abraham?” That hasn’t changed, Folks! God calls us friends!

Seek out, and you test each spirit, finding real believers like Mary did when she went to visit Elizabeth, and upon her arrival, Elizabeth began to prophecy what was already conceived in Mary. Do you get this point? Elizabeth saw by the Spirit. Mary was pregnant and didn’t God lead Mary to go see Elizabeth? God sends us to the people that will help us birth our promises! God had promised the Messiah. He was going to bring forth what He promised. Mary needed to ponder it, have faith in God, trust God no matter what people had to say about her, surround herself with the godliest of people, her aunt Elizabeth and uncle Zachariah the priest. Finally, she had to wait the required time for what was conceived by God to be birthed and come to pass. For her, it was nine months, and for you, it might be 9 hours, 9 days, 9 months, or 9 years; it doesn’t matter what the time is.

What’s important is you do not abort the dreams, visions, and promises of God. You take the steps necessary to birth what God conceived in you! This is really all up to you! God gave us example after example of the blessings He gave to those who had faith and trusted in Him, those who maintained their godly character, not based on what others believed or said about them, that’s irreverent in the eyes of God. People have prejudices and jealousies and some are not in right standing before God; so we don’t pay attention to those people. Let them be. Judgment is for God and God alone. Don’t go there, or you will fall as they will. This is the reason why you go to the Elizabeth-like and Zachariah-like people. Then you wait for God’s appointed time to birth it. You don’t quit in the middle of the birth. What woman says, “Forget this baby that’s in me. I will walk around pregnant for the rest of my life,” or forget it as she’s half way in the middle of baby coming out, “I’m going home?” It would mean death for her, and the baby. Is it clear what God is saying to you today?

God wants you not to give up on the promises He has conceived and confirmed to you. Don’t listen to every voice. Test the spirit. In the wilderness, there were 10 spies who said, “No, this not of God, and two that said, “Yes, God’s promise is that land!” Remember only two went in and possessed the promise of God. The other 10 aborted the conceived vision. They lost out, but Joshua and Caleb enjoyed the promise of God, God’s way, surrounded by those who in the spirit supported what God conceived.

Be careful who you trust with the dreams and visions God has given you. I, too, have made this mistake except God warned me about each person that would not stand and go back on the very vision God gave me because it wasn’t happening on their timetable. Giants are won only with people of great faith. Little faith defeats little giants. Giant faith defeats giant challenges and brings forth gigantic victories and unimaginable things. The eyes of the Lord go to and fro the whole earth looking for hearts fully committed to Him so He can show Himself strong on their behalf. Stay the course. Have faith. Trust God. Be with people of like precious faith, like-minded, and  wait upon the Lord. His time is the best.
