Psalm 117 – Forever Faithful

As we close out the month of November, remember to daily to always come into the presence of your God with thanksgiving and praise which flows out of your heart.  Let the fruit of your lips be filled with praise and honor to the King of kings.  Allow yourself to continue developing an attitude of gratitude, focusing on His goodness, and always remember as a child of God, thanksgiving is not just for one day of the year.  We are to give thanks to God every day.

PSALM 117

Praise the Lord, all nations!

Extol him, all peoples!

For great is his steadfast love toward us,

and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever.

Praise the Lord!

The Scars We Never Wanted

heart

I have come to realize that the scars of life are the most beautiful and precious gifts God can give us.  I know I sound crazy, but please hear me out.  It’s those things that have hurt us the deepest which God can use to restore others.

I wonder if we fully comprehend  we are the love of God here on this Earth?

God uses those who have overcome the difficulties of life.  He wants to use you and me to bring hope to those who are hopeless. He wants to use you and me to rescue those who are depressed, lonely, and discouraged.

I am so glad God has given me many scars, scars I didn’t want, and scars that I didn’t want to be seen.  Now, I realize those are God’s greatest gifts entrusted to me.  God knows how much we can take.  He never gives us more than we can handle, and get and understand He always brings us to the other side.

Join me in a quick prayer for those people in your life whom you know are devastated by what is occurring in their lives. Remember, you could be one of them, and how would you handle it?

Give the gift of love today.

Be blessed, My Friends.

Psalm 4 – The Lord Our Yahweh Shalom

shalom

PSALM 4

Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness!

You have given me relief when I was in distress.

Be gracious to me and hear my prayer!

O men, how long shall my honor be turned into shame?

How long will you love vain words and seek after lies? Selah

But know that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself;

the Lord hears when I call to him.

Be angry, and do not sin;

ponder in your own hearts on your beds, and be silent.

Selah

Offer right sacrifices,

and put your trust in the Lord.

There are many who say, “Who will show us some good?

Lift up the light of your face upon us, O Lord!”

You have put more joy in my heart

than they have when their grain and wine abound.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep;

for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 101 -About That Integrity

integrity

PSALM 101

I will sing of steadfast love and justice;
to you, O Lord, I will make music.
I will ponder the way that is blameless.
Oh when will you come to me?
I will walk with integrity of heart
within my house;
I will not set before my eyes
anything that is worthless.
I hate the work of those who fall away;
it shall not cling to me.
A perverse heart shall be far from me;
I will know nothing of evil.

Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly
I will destroy.
Whoever has a haughty look and an arrogant heart
I will not endure.

I will look with favor on the faithful in the land,
that they may dwell with me;
he who walks in the way that is blameless
shall minister to me.

No one who practices deceit
shall dwell in my house;
no one who utters lies
shall continue before my eyes.

Morning by morning I will destroy
all the wicked in the land,
cutting off all the evildoers
from the city of the Lord.
