The holiday season is difficult for a lot of people for a number of reasons, but whatever the reason, there are those who are hurting and in need of a little kindness.
This came to mind, and it’s found in Isaiah 35:3-4, “With this news, strengthen those who have tired hands, and encourage those who have weak knees. Say to those with fearful hearts, ‘Be strong, and do not fear, for your God is coming to destroy your enemies. He is coming to save you.'”
In this season of celebration, be mindful of those who are without family or friends.
Let your light shine brightly wherever you go and in whatever you say to those in need; allow yourself to be led by the Holy Spirit.
Sometimes the most simple act such as a smile or a hello can lift a person’s spirit. A word of encouragement will go a long way, and an act of kindness done with love can begin a healing in a person’s life.
God will bring opportunities your way to show mercy and compassion to those who cross your path. All you have to do is trust in God for the words to speak to those who cross your path while running errands, shopping, going out to eat, and the like.
Let’s take an example from Christ,
and be moved with compassion.
just as your Father is merciful.”
May God Bless All of You Abundantly.
