Moments of Opportunities

ROMANS 1

Difficult times are great moments of opportunities. When we go through trials, sickness, and hardships we have the opportunity to see the hand of God move on our behalf.  God always uses our sufferings to bring about great blessings, and repayment for the years that were stolen.

Please don’t give up. Keep going no matter what you are faced with.  The harder the road, the great the victory.  Spend your time regaining the authority you have in the Lord.  His Spirit leads us into all truth.  You were created to be an overcomer no matter how difficult the walk might be.

You have authority in the name of the Lord to overcome and be led to all truth. Stay firm on the authority you have been given.

The Importance of Prayer

Plug Into The Power Source

Our prayer life is of most importance.  It is the most we can do for each other.  A prayer does not need to be filled with big, long “religious” words.  It doesn’t need to be spoken eloquently nor does it need to be lengthy.  It definitely does not need to be a grocery list type thing either.  A prayer can be as simple as, “Jesus, I can’t do it by myself.  Help me please!”

Jesus isn’t looking at how it is spoken or the words we use;  however, He does look at our heart.  It doesn’t matter how long, how many hours we pray;  it’s a matter of what is in your heart.  Is it God’s will you are asking?  Is it fleshly desire?  Are we earnestly seeking Him in our prayers?  Are we truly sorry for what we have done wrong?  Don’t be like the Pharisees, being long-winded and praying for everybody to see and hear.  Be of humble heart, seeking God’s will alone.

Child of God, go to God and ask Him to remove what is not from Him.  Praise Him for who He is.  Ask, with a pure heart, your desires.  Pray for those who need it, and thank Him for what He has done, is doing, and will do.  End your time with Him with a praising and joyful heart.  Then go out, and do what you need to.

Prayer is not talking then waiting for God to do all the work.  No, you must do your part too, whatever that may be.  It is a conversation with your best friend, Jesus!  Prayer is not something we do once a day.  It is a way of life.

Always be joyful.  Never stop praying.  Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.”  –1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Blind Faith

Blind faith!

There must come a time in your life, if you want to go deeper with God, that you just step into the water, and keep going!  This means you must abandon your ideas, fears, thoughts, and your own way of doing things!  Giving up total control and submitting to the will of God!

God wants to take you much deeper than surf boarding waves! He wants you in the middle of the ocean, where the waves are higher than your head.

“God wants to take you much deeper than surfboarding waves. He wants you in the middle of the ocean, where the waves are higher than your head.”  -Teresa Allissa Citro

There must come a time in your life, if you want to go deeper with God, that you just step into the water, and keep going!  This means you must abandon your ideas, fears, thoughts, and your own way of doing things!  Giving up total control and submitting to the will of God!

We always talk about going deeper, but the majority give up at first waves.  God wants to take you much deeper than surfboarding waves.  He wants you in the middle of the ocean, where the waves are higher than your head.

This is a surfer’s dream!

Are you catching what the Spirit is saying?

It is here.  The strongest of waves will determine in whom you place your hope.

This kind of faith is exuberant, breathtaking, and mountain moving kind of faith.  It’s here real character is developed.  Unshakable, unmovable, and courageous faith is built.  Once you’re here, at this place, you can confidently say to the mountain, “Move out of my way, throw yourself into the sea, I believe God!”  Let me say, if you want to live this way, you must be prepared for the trials of life.  They come to test you.

You must be willing to keep going deeper no matter what, keeping your eyes on the Lord.  He will deliver you, uplift you, and keep you safe in the highest of waves!  You will never be the same again, and you will never regret what you had to give up, endure, or sacrifice to get at faith without borders!  Alleluia!  Go for this faith.  I promise you it’s worth it all to have that encounter with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords!

Times of Disappointment

Disappointment is the word for today.

Disappointment is not a negative word to me.

Disappointed 1

“Everything that disappoints us is an important appointed moment to teach us a lesson…” -Teresa Allissa Citro

We become disappointed in people and circumstances. However, I learned a long time ago that what I think as being disappointment is really a great appointed moment in my life.  Everything that disappoints us is an important appointed moment to teach us a lesson, to change our course, to change thoughts and ideas of what we thought, and best of all, it’s an appointed moment to push us into our destiny.

We have got to view the best in everything that happens to us, greatly, understanding God is in control, and every disappointment is really appointed by God to bless us.  Especially, when we are in the right!  Don’t be disappointed, but rather thank God for this appointed moment of truth which reveals the truth!  Your character is at stake; take the disappointment, and turn it into an appointed moment to build you stronger!  Thank God for God’s appointed moments!

Sin Affects Our Spirit

"Then Samuel said: Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams." -1 Samuel 15:22 (HCSB)

“Then Samuel said: Does the LORD take pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as much as in obeying the LORD? Look: to obey is better than sacrifice, to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.” -1 Samuel 15:22 (HCSB)

“Sin affects our spirit!  A humble attitude before an Almighty God is essential to receiving God’s blessings.  Be wise today.  Ask God to show you what is wicked in you.  Yes, our hearts are wicked and deceitful.  Only God knows our intentions.  Bow before Him.  He will forgive you, and lift you out of the pit and set your feet on solid ground.  It’s all about obedience and repentance!”

Holiness Is Not Achieved On Our Own

God says, “You shall be holy, for I am holy!”

“Shall” is a command, My Friends.  Yes, it’s hard to do on our own, but God sanctifies us, not us.  You and I can never achieve holiness by following a list of dos and don’ts.  We become holy by desiring to do the will of God because we understand He sanctified us.

We belong to God.  Our destiny is heaven bound, and therefore, we live a life obeying God in ALL we do.  God says, “I carried you on eagles wings.”  How then can we remove ourselves by doing evil in His sight?  He has given us the power to live a life of holiness.  The choices we make determine if we are heaven or hell bound.

Don’t be deceived, My Friends.  Remember God says, “You SHALL be holy, for I am holy!”
