Not About Flashy Words

“And we are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him.  And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.” -1 John 5:14-15
When we go to God in prayer, our words need not be eloquent or extravagant. What matters is that our prayer comes from deep within our hearts, the depths of our soul. God loves it when we converse with Him, talking and listening, telling Him every little thing.
It is imperative we take the time to be silent, to be still and listen to what God tells us during our time with Him. Listening is part of praying too. Our prayers are not to be a grocery store list or demands we think God ought to do. We pray and ask according to HIS will. Believe God when He gives you promises, and do your part to show your obedience to Him.
Radical faith + radical obedience = radical blessings
