“What was so good about Good Friday?”
Jesus took our sins and sickness and nailed them to the cross. The victory was won on Good Friday. Sins are forgiven, and diseases are healed.
What sins do you need to be forgiven for? What diseases do you need healed? Let us remember, “But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.”
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for you won all our battles and healed all our diseases. Most importantly, You forgave all our sins, and we didn’t even deserve it.
This is what was so good about Good Friday. Jesus paid a debt he didn’t owe and we owed a debt we couldn’t pay. His great love is what is so good about Good Friday. Can you say “Thank you, Jesus, for what you did for humankind and especially for me.”
