Give Thanks With A Grateful Heart

Grateful Heart 1

Psalm 136:1-9

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good!
His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to the God of gods.
His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to him who alone does mighty miracles.
His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to him who made the heavens so skillfully.
His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to him who placed the earth among the waters.
His faithful love endures forever.

Give thanks to him who made the heavenly lights—
His faithful love endures forever.

the sun to rule the day,
His faithful love endures forever.

and the moon and stars to rule the night.
His faithful love endures forever.

Our God is a consuming fire, and He will NOT share His glory with another.  His jealousy is like fire.  He burns with a passion for His people who are to look to only Him as LORD and as GOD!

Deuteronomy 4:23-24 states, “So be careful not to break the covenant the Lord your God has made with you. Do not make idols of any shape or form, for the Lord your God has forbidden this.  The Lord your God is a devouring fire; he is a jealous God.”

This passage shows God’s demand of loyalty and faithfulness to Him.  His jealousy is the kind that is appropriate and good.  God defends His name, His words, and His honor.

His demand for loyalty and faithfulness from His children is as passionate as a consuming fire and is an exclusive one.  GOD is LORD, and no one else is to be treated as such.

In other words, there is NO other God besides your Heavenly Father who is the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.  No one compares to Him, and no one ever will compare to Him.  God is jealous for you.

Mankind frail, made of nothing but the dust of the ground, fading away along with everything in this world…  BUT GOD is everlasting, the Omnipresent LORD, who does NOT fail.  He is glorious and majestic in all His ways, and He is jealous for you.

Remember to be faithful to the LORD in all you do for our God is a consuming fire and does NOT share His glory with another.

Much love to you all,

Those Who Remain Faithful

“Jesus replied, ‘All who love me will do what I say. My Father will love them, and we will come and make our home with each of them.'” -John 14:23

Remarkable men and women are those who remain faithful under many hardships and uncertainties! God works miracles in the lives of those who do not grow weary and faint under their trials!

We pledge allegiance to God Almighty,

Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.

Representing Him who holds our citizenship in Heaven,

we will strap on the full armor of God

so our loyalty will not waver as we stand firm

in the face of opposition.

We will be strong and courageous,

without fear,

without dismay.

Leaving everything behind,

we offer our lives as a living sacrifice

unto Him who spared no expense to rescue us.

As we are striving to serve Him wholeheartedly,

we know the battle is not ours, but God’s.

With a steadfast determination and the strength He gives,

we will not back down.

Watch With Great Expectancy

We are to watch in hope with great expectancy and confidence without wavering, strongly believing God is faithful to all his promises.  He is orchestrating and directing our footsteps.  The more we have to wait, the stronger our faith muscle becomes, the more we learn to rely on His unfailing love.

This is all about trusting God and having the faith to stay the course no matter what.  Wait on God.  Don’t go your own way.  In time, He will fulfill his promises to you.

Following in His footsteps always leads to blessings.

Again I say, wait on the Lord, trust Him, and keep the faith.

He will see you through!

Repent of Your Sin & Turn To God

For the time has come for judgment, and it must begin with God’s household. And if judgment begins with us, what terrible fate awaits those who have never obeyed God’s Good News? Nothing is hidden from God; their evil intentions will be exposed when the light shines on them, and All who do evil hate the light and refuse to go near it for fear their sins will be exposed- Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before his eyes, and he is the one to whom we are accountable. I have had one message—the necessity of repenting from sin and turning to God, and of having faith in our Lord Jesus. Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. Then times of refreshment will come from the presence of the Lord.  (1 Peter 4:17, Ephesians 5:13, John 3:20, Acts 20:21, Isaiah 55:6, Acts 3:19-20)

For the Scriptures say, ‘As surely as I live,’ says the LORD, every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will confess and give praise to God,’ and “that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Romans 14:11, Philippians 2:10-11)

contentment-1Every single day you have breath in your body is a day to give thanks!

Do you have a roof over your head?  Do you have clothes you are wearing?  Do you have food on the table?  Do you have family?  Do you have friends?  If you have said yes to all or some of these questions, then you are blessed beyond measure and can give thanks to God for those blessings.

For the child of God, thanksgiving is EVERY day.  Yes, we have a national holiday called Thanksgiving.  However, we as children of God, know we are to present ourselves to the Lord as living sacrifices to live for Him, to bring glory to Him, to praise Him, thanking Him for ALL He has done.

The bible states in Hebrews 13:15 states, “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.”  That does not say let us sometimes offer up a sacrifice of praise.  That verse states, “…let us CONTINUALLY offer up a sacrifice of praise.”

Psalm 117 states this, “Praise the Lord, all you nations.  Praise him, all you people of the earth.  For his unfailing love for us is powerful;  the Lord’s faithfulness endures forever.  Praise the Lord!”

If you can find nothing to be thankful for, then Psalm 117 tells you two things to be thankful for:  (1) The Lord’s Unfailing Powerful Love and (2) The Lord’s Enduring Faithfulness.

Make known His faithfulness, Children of God, to all generations.

Proclaim His goodness among the people!

Here’s the Praise Challenge:  Every day, no matter how the day is going and no matter what the situation/circumstance you find yourself in, find one or more things to be grateful and thankful for, and lift your voice in thanksgiving to God, The Creator of the Heavens and the Earth.

May you all be awesomely blessed,
