Our minds are a battlefield. We must remain vigilant to win this battle every day!
Take captive all the worldly thoughts, those that bring you down and do no good for you.
Replenish that void Satan left with words of Scripture, His Words, Life-giving Truth.
Give praise to Him who reigns on High!

“For though we walk in the flesh,
we are not waging war according to the flesh.
For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh
but have divine power to destroy strongholds.
We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God
and take every thought captive to obey Christ,
being ready to punish every disobedience,
when your obedience is complete.“
2 Corinthians 10:3-6
My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises! -Psalm 57:7
Did God ever do a miracle for you?
Did God give you a promise and kept it?
And did God help you in a really bad time of need?
If He did one of those or all of them you should praise Him and give thanks for everything He has done for you. God loves you so you should thank him for everything and everyone.
One day when I was praying for my food, I started to thank God for every single thing He has made. Don’t be shy to thank him in prayer too.
If I can do it, so can you!
So think it through: if God does a really good thing for you what should you do? That’s right you should always praise Him!
A way to praise Him is to sing and dance for Him. And prayer is just like talking, but you’re talking to God! Thank God in all you do cause He does everything for you!
Mighty Kids For Christ
Our prayer life is of most importance. It is the most we can do for each other. A prayer does not need to be filled with big, long “religious” words. It doesn’t need to be spoken eloquently nor does it need to be lengthy. It definitely does not need to be a grocery list type thing either. A prayer can be as simple as, “Jesus, I can’t do it by myself. Help me please!”
Jesus isn’t looking at how it is spoken or the words we use; however, He does look at our heart. It doesn’t matter how long, how many hours we pray; it’s a matter of what is in your heart. Is it God’s will you are asking? Is it fleshly desire? Are we earnestly seeking Him in our prayers? Are we truly sorry for what we have done wrong? Don’t be like the Pharisees, being long-winded and praying for everybody to see and hear. Be of humble heart, seeking God’s will alone.
Child of God, go to God and ask Him to remove what is not from Him. Praise Him for who He is. Ask, with a pure heart, your desires. Pray for those who need it, and thank Him for what He has done, is doing, and will do. End your time with Him with a praising and joyful heart. Then go out, and do what you need to.
Prayer is not talking then waiting for God to do all the work. No, you must do your part too, whatever that may be. It is a conversation with your best friend, Jesus! Prayer is not something we do once a day. It is a way of life.
“Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.” –1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

“I will turn their mourning into gladness.
I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.
Therefore, do not worry about tomorrow.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God.
Thank you, Lord.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” -Philippians 4:6
God is always there to listen to your requests, even though some answers may be yes, and some may be no. Never be worried about something that hasn’t even happened. God is in control, and all things happen according to his plan.
