Replace Ungodly Input With What Is Wholesome

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” -Philippians 4:8

If you are struggling with your thought life, here are several questions to consider: What are your influences? Who are you entertaining? What are you watching?

Like the old saying goes, “Garbage in, garbage out.”

Eventually, what you put in comes out.

Replace ungodly input with what is wholesome.

THOUGHTS 1Know what God thinks and what He has to say. Read the Word of God and study His Word. It gives you what you need so you can fix your eyes on what is eternal. Know you are able to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ because the Lord helps you and your strength comes from Him alone.

Much love to you all,

POEM: Magnify

Written By Linda A. Knowles

Let Thy Glory

O Magnify the Lord with me-

Praise to Him, the King of kings!

And I shall lift my voice to sing of His everlasting goodness,

The goodness of The Mighty Sovereign King!

Almighty God!

You reign supreme,

For You are the God Most High,

And none compares to You, My God,

The Holy, Righteous One.

You are the Horn of My Salvation,

Exalted far above all the earth,

And You are strong and glorious,

Mighty to save,

Giver of Life,

Everlasting Father,

And You are One!

Just A Word From Jesus

HEALER 1“So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins. Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, ‘Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!’  And the man jumped up and went home!  Fear swept through the crowd as they saw this happen. And they praised God for giving humans such authority.”   Matthew 9:6-8

During His life, Jesus performed many miracles.

As this Bible verse states, “Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, ‘Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!’

He had the power to simply speak to the paralyzed, and they would be healed.

Isn’t that amazing?

Never Too Broken

You’re never too broken to belong to Jesus.  Come to Him as you are. His grace and mercy are amazing.  He will heal you, restoring what was taken from you.  He will redeem you. He will fill that void in your life.  The world makes promises that only God can do.  Trust in Him, and have faith that He shall do what He says.

Worth The Results

Do you want to break a bad habit?

You must want God’s will more than your fleshly desires.

Each time you have that urge to do that thing that keeps you from God, stop, deep breath, pray, pray some more, redirect your thoughts to God and what is right in His eyes and do it.

Doing what is right isn’t always easy, but it is so worth the end result.

In The Quiet Place

PRAISE AND WORSHIP 18Father in Heaven,

I praise You.

I worship and adore You.

You have given me great blessings and for I am eternally grateful.

You know my heart, Sweet Jesus, and You know the trials are prevalent in my life.

Help me to keep my eyes on You and not the circumstances.

The waters may be rough and the winds, Lord, the wind is blowing fiercely, but I know that I know that in You I have shelter.

You are my fortress, my dwelling place, and my safe haven.

There are times where I feel like I’m drowning because the waves are so high and there are times where I feel like I’m going to break because the winds are at seemingly tornado speed.

God, You are there with me always.

You will never leave me and You will shield me from the fiery darts.

I praise You, Abba, I thank you and adore You. I love You, Father.

I am Yours and You are mine forever.
